Challenger

Pittsford Little League (PLL) is an official Little League program affiliated with Little League International. Our Challenger Program is offered during the spring season.

Challenger Baseball is an adaptive program designed to give children ages 4 and up with physical and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the PLL in a supportive, inclusive environment. Players participate with the assistance of on-field Buddies who help at bat, on the bases, and in the field.

Buddies may be children ages 12 and older or adults, and often include peer athletes who participate in PLL or play baseball or softball for their school.

Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge is welcome to participate. There is no cost to register for the Challenger Program.

Challenger teams meet each Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PLL Ford Field Complex for games.
