Challenger

Pittsford Little League (PLL) is an official Little League program affiliated with Little League International. Our Challenger Program is offered during the spring season.

Challenger Baseball is an adaptive program created to give children ages 4 and older with physical and intellectual disabilities the chance to enjoy the benefits of the PLL in a supportive, inclusive environment. Players take part with the help of on-field Buddies who assist at bat, on the bases, and in the field.

Buddies may be children aged 12 and up or adults, and often include peer athletes involved in PLL or who play baseball or softball at their school. Buddies usually earn service hour credits.

Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge is welcome to participate. There is no fee to register for the Challenger Program.

Challenger teams meet each Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PLL Ford Field Complex for games.
