PLL Spring 2025 Baseball Player Evaluation – Date Change From March 2nd to March 9th

Please be advised that the Pittsford Little League player evaluation, originally scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd, will now be held on Sunday, March 9th, at Calkins Rd Middle School. Players should drop in when it’s convenient between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Each player should come in athletic attire with sneakers and bring their glove and bat (optional). We expect it will take each player ~20 minutes to complete the evaluation once they begin.

This player evaluation is for baseball players registered for the Spring 2025 Rookies, Minors, and Majors program who did not attend a player evaluation session last fall. The evaluation is conducted in a fun, no-pressure environment. This is not a tryout; there are no cuts. We use the session to get a sense of where players are in terms of their baseball skill development and use this information as teams are formed. While we find it helpful to have an assessment for each player, we certainly understand if a player has prior commitments and is unable to attend.
